Online learning modules are all the online courses available to your employees that are not Acumen online modules.
Adding a new module:
From the main menu select Online
Learning 4 Modules 4 Add Module.
The Add Module page will display.
If you want to add the new module to an existing volume, select it in the Volumes listbox.
Enter a Module Number.
Enter a brief overview of the module in the Description field. This will help users understand the content of the module to know whether they want to take it.
Select the appropriate Level for the difficulty of the module.
In the Course File field, enter the file location of the module. You can search for it by clicking the Browse button.
If the item carries a cost, you can enter a Base Cost and a Local Cost.
Enter how long the module is expected to take to complete in the Duration field.
Enter any Pre-Requisites.
If the module carries a training credit for a user completing it, then enter it in the Credit Hours field.
Click Add.
The file will be uploaded and a message will display telling you when
it has been added to the system.
Click Back to return to the List of Modules page.

You can create volumes for online modules if you want to categorise them. For an example of online modules grouped into volumes, look at the Acumen online modules. |
