News items can be split into sections. Using sections makes it easier to manage news stories and easier for users to find the stories they are interested in. When a user looks at their home page where the news items are displayed, they will see the news stories under their relevant sections. You can choose the order in which these sections are listed on the page in the Layout Manager page, create new sections and rename existing ones. You can also delete sections from here.
Setting the news sections layout:
From the main menu select Communications
4 News Manager 4 Layout Manager.
The Layout Manager page will
display.
To change the order the sections are listed, click on a section name in the Existing Sections listbox, then use the arrows on the right to change the order.
To rename a section, select it in the Existing Sections listbox, select the Rename Existing Section radio button, then type in the new name in the Section Name field and click Update.
To create a new section, select the Create New Section radio button, then type in the name in the Section Name field and click Add.
Click Back when you have finished your changes.
