A scheduled letter posting is where you select a letter that has been created in the system, and a distribution list, and put the two together so you can mass mail the email to all the users in the distribution list group at once.
Setting up a scheduled letter posting:
From the main menu select Communications
4 Emails 4 Scheduled Posts 4
Add Posts.
The Schedule Posting page
will display.
Select the letter to be emailed from the Letter field. Click the Preview icon, if you want to view the content of the letter.
Select the recipient list from the Distribution List listbox. Click the Preview icon, if you want to view the people in the list.
In the Scheduled Date fields, enter the date and time that you want the email sent. You can leave these blank and select the Send Now radio button if you want the email sent immediately.
Click Post to return to the List of Post Scheduled page where the new post will be listed.
