The Knowledge Bank is a library of learning materials that can be added to catalogues and learning paths. You can add a multitude of items to the knowledge bank, from documents and slide shows to videos and web links.
Adding a new knowledge bank item:
From the main menu select Knowledge
Bank4 Add File.
The Add Learning Material page will display.
Enter a Name and a Description in the fields.
In the File/URL field, select the relevant radio button for the item you want to create, then enter either the file location or a web site URL. If adding a file you can search for it by clicking the Browse button.
If the item carries a cost, you can enter a Base Cost and a Local Cost.
From the Type listbox, select the file type you are adding.
Select the relevant Level for the item.
If the item is only applicable to a certain area, enter it in the Location field.
If the item carries a training credit for a user completing it, then enter the Credit Hours.
Click Add.
A message will display at the top of the page telling you the item
has been added successfully.
