Managing the Knowledge Bank

The Knowledge Bank is a library of learning materials that can be added to catalogues and learning paths. They are intended to aid employees in their learning by providing them with supplementary information to their classroom courses and online courses.

You can add a multitude of items to the knowledge bank, from documents and slide shows to videos and web links. When you add an item to the knowledge bank you can assign a Base Cost and a Local Cost.  This is the cost to the company of a user using the item, and the cost to the user's area or department for them using it if these items are cross changed. You can also select the relevant Level for the item, which tells a user how easy or difficult the content of an item is.

If the item carries a training credit for a user completing it, you can enter Credit Hours for it.
