A scheduled letter posting is where you select a letter that has been created in the system, and a distribution list, and put the two together so you can mass mail the email to all the users in the distribution list group at once. You can view scheduled postings that have already been set up and make changes if required before the time scheduled for a posting to be sent. Once sent, a scheduled posting will no longer appear in the List of Post Scheduled page.
Viewing and editing a scheduled letter posting:
From the main menu select Communications
4 Emails 4 Scheduled Posts 4
Manage Posts.
The List of Post Scheduled
page will display.
Find the item you want to edit in the list, then
click the Edit icon, in that row.
The Edit Scheduled Posting
page will display.
Make you changes then click Update.
Click Back to return
to the List of Post Scheduled
page.
To view how the email will appear to the recipient, click the Preview icon, in that row.
To view the list of people in the distribution list for a letter, click the Preview icon, in the row for that letter.
